Picture
During this interactive workshop, Claire Cahill, Confidence & Leadership coach explores the 5 ways to wellbeing and how, if practised daily, can improve the physical and emotional wellbeing of the next generation.
Claire wants to equip children with life skills that will
  • Improve resilience - both physical and emotional
  • Increase confidence and empower them to make effective decisions
  • Increase motivation to learn
  • Increase engagement to learn
  • Increase commitment to take action
If you feel this workshop is needed in schools and you want to inspire the next generation to be leaders of the future with a healthy mind and body, then please contact me claire@accendocoaching.co.uk

Emma Handisides - Deputy Head - St Joseph's Primary School - Staveley, Chesterfield
The wellbeing of the pupils at St Joseph’s Primary School is hugely important to us. We believe that if we can educate our children to manage their own physical and mental health and wellbeing, this will enable them to lead a fulfilled, happy life and ultimately have a positive impact on progress and attainment throughout their years of education.
Claire Cahill is the mother of an ex-pupil and a current pupil at St Joseph’s school. Due to Claire’s work as a Life Coach, she understands, believes in and fully supports our school’s ethos and priorities around educating our pupils in regards to facilitating and enabling a positive responsibility for health and wellbeing.
As this was an area that Claire was also passionate about, and had much experience in, she approached school with an influential proposition. It was decided that Claire would share her expertise by designing and leading a bespoke package for the Year 5 pupils at St Joseph’s school to educate and promote wellbeing.
Claire planned and delivered a range of activities which spanned over four 90 minute sessions (over four weeks.) These sessions enabled the participants to understand the importance of connecting with friends, family and even themselves, to be active and to practise mindfulness, to reflect on their learning styles and how they could develop their own learning further by considering how they perceived they learned best. These activities were carefully planned and executed by Claire to ensure that children would not only learn the elements of positive wellbeing, but to take these elements from the session and practise them in their daily lives.
Through participation in a range of pre-planned exciting games and activities such as pictionary, mindfulness activities, including a walk in natural surroundings, reflective discussions, creative activities and learning how to exhibit attributes that would ensure ‘best learner and best self,’ there was a marked improvement in the confidence of these children and their abilities to recognise, talk about and implement the four main factors which contribute to positive wellbeing.
It has been a pleasure to see first-hand the passion that Claire holds for educating our future generation of children in something so vital. She has clearly ignited this passion with our Year 5 pupils and facilitated them to become their best selves. I personally am one of the people whom Claire has enabled to reflect on and adapt my life style accordingly, to ensure I am living my life as ‘my best self.’
